Following the successful sale of my first 1/1 drawing. I like to keep the momentum going by setting up my first auction on Objkt.com. Knowing that auctions on Objkt have a 24 hours window to receive bids, decided to start my auction on Thursday around noon time EST so this auction will go through what I believe is the most active time for the global NFT community.

This 1/1 NFT, which is a self-portrait, actually received the first bid at 5 #tezos fairly quickly. But, the action really started to pick up a couple of hours before the auction ended. In the end, the winning bid tripled the starting price and sold at 15 #tezos. Even more surprising to me was the fact that, while the auction is happening, other collectors started to purchase my other artworks in the same collection.

That morning, within a span of 6 hours or so, I had my first NFT sold-out collection. Again, I was never in this experimentation for the money for the asking prices were extremely low. But, for an artist, it is an amazing feeling when you realize there are people out there that resonate with your artwork and appreciate what you do. This was a very special, happy, and exciting day that I will remember for the rest of my life.
